Ilaria Cellamare
Ilaria Cellamare was born in Bari, a nice city in the south of Italy, where she attended the Academy of fine Arts. Although never linked to the design, the importance of drawing in her family environment was certainly a factor to distinguish her design approach. Her passionate tendency for art and painting leads her to keeping herself constantly updated. Thanks to her constant research she can express her creativity by using all sorts of materials, creating volumes and functional forms. During Salone del Mobile 2016, in Milano, she introduces her first collections: " Kaede", which means maple in japanese, is characterized by elegance and romanticism and it was inspired by her strong interest for this oriental culture. " Frammenti" , which means fragments in italian, is an abstract representation of a diamond fragments and it is characterized by an essential and pure shape. " Géométries trois", three geometries in french, was inspired by her constant journeys in Paris and it is the expression of the geometrical trend, with brilliant colours.
